History
Alt Shot Golf Club started in 2021 to introduce more of our friends and family to the game. We wanted a way to get beginner golf and competitive intermediates/advanced
Our club specializes in mixed-level team-based events (e.g. scramble, best ball, alternate shot). This focus allows us to:
1) Make golf more accessible to beginners
2) Offer competition and incentives for intermediate/advanced members
3) Educate beginners on pace of play, etiquette, rules, etc.
Ultimately, we feel that golf should be fun! We believe in growing the game through play time, not practice time. Beginners will naturally fall in love with the game when allowed to play at their own level, and we’re passionate about creating space to let them wade in at their own pace.
